15th Annual Copake Falls Day Dedicated To Memory of Glenn Pupa

Invocation for the dedication of the 15th Annual Copake Falls Day by Rev. John Thompson, in memory of Glenn Pupa:

We give thanks in this beautiful place for another celebration of Copake Falls Day! We're grateful for those who make it happen and for this lovely weather!

This year's Copake Falls Day is dedicated to Glenn Pupa, who we lost in May. I'll share the words of Glenn's long time partner, Lou Lucchi:

"Glenn Pupa began enjoying his summers at Copake Falls in the 1960's when his Great Aunt purchased the Taconic Wayside Inn. His love for this warm and friendly community only continued to grow through the years. Upon his retirement Glenn posted the following sentiment on his Facebook page, 'I look forward to the small town country life for which I have always longed.' As many of you know, Glenn was happiest when sitting on his front porch embracing a chicken and chatting with neighbors as they strolled by. With heartfelt appreciation on behalf of Glenn's family, we wish everyone in Copake Falls a happy 15th anniversary celebration."
